GeForce NOW Unveils Subscription Labels to Speed Game Discovery for Cloud Gamers
Breaking News — NVIDIA's GeForce NOW cloud gaming service has launched new in-app labels that instantly identify whether a game is available through connected Xbox Game Pass or Ubisoft+ subscriptions, eliminating the need for manual cross-checking. The feature, first teased at GDC, is now live across all supported devices.
"This is a game-changer for usability," said Jordan Reyes, cloud gaming analyst at TechStream Research. "Players no longer have to remember which titles belong to which subscription — the labels appear right on the game tile, reducing friction and encouraging exploration."
What This Means
For the millions of GeForce NOW subscribers who also hold Xbox Game Pass or Ubisoft+ accounts, the update simplifies the path to play. Previously, finding streamable games from these libraries required toggling between apps or relying on memory. Now, clear tags on each game's detail page show compatibility at a glance.

Analysts expect this to increase session times and library utilization. "When discovery is easier, players try more titles," said Emily Tran, principal analyst at CloudGamingWatch. "NVIDIA is removing a key barrier to engagement."
Background
GeForce NOW is NVIDIA's cloud streaming platform that lets users access their existing PC game libraries from low-end devices. It supports connections to multiple storefronts and subscription services, including Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox Game Pass, and Ubisoft+. The new labeling system builds on earlier library integration, adding visual cues to the user interface.
The update arrives during a period of rapid expansion for the platform, which now boasts thousands of streamable titles. As competition among cloud gaming services heats up, user experience enhancements like these become critical differentiators.

Additional Updates
New Release: Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard
Alongside the labeling feature, GeForce NOW is adding six new games this week, headlined by Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard, a roguelite horde escape game set in the chaotic Vampire Survivors universe. Players stack absurd power-ups each run, turning nearly every attempt into a highlight reel of close calls and explosive victories.
"Every build becomes a delightful disaster with unpredictable synergies," an NVIDIA spokesperson said. "On GeForce NOW, the action stays razor-sharp even when the screen is packed with enemies."
Exclusive Skins: Thor's Midgard Umber Look
Premium members gain early access to the Thor Midgard Umber Skin in Marvel Rivals, replacing the god's classic red cape with a battle-ready umber-toned design. The skin is available starting today for GeForce NOW Priority and Ultimate members.
Impact
These improvements underscore NVIDIA's commitment to making cloud gaming more intuitive. By reducing the cognitive load of tracking subscriptions, the company hopes to retain existing users and attract new ones who may have been intimidated by the complexity of managing multiple libraries.
As cloud gaming matures, features that simplify discovery and access will likely become table stakes. With this release, GeForce NOW is positioning itself ahead of that curve.
